Where these terms apply

These terms cover bookings made directly with Urban Nomad for Urban Nomad Sydney — Kings Cross and Urban Nomad London — Camden. Bookings made through a third-party travel site are also subject to that site's own terms.

Currency

• Kings Cross, Sydney: all rates are charged in Australian dollars (AUD).
• Camden, London: all rates are charged in pounds sterling (GBP).

Prices and availability

Rates shown on this website are indicative starting prices and vary by date, room type and occupancy. The rate confirmed by our booking system at the moment you complete a booking is the rate that applies.

Payment

Payment terms — including any deposit, pre-authorisation or balance due on arrival — are shown in the booking system before you confirm, and are set by the rate you select. Card details are handled by our booking provider's payment processor.

Cancellation and changes

Cancellation rights depend on the rate you book. Flexible rates allow free cancellation up to the deadline stated on your confirmation; non-refundable and promotional rates cannot be cancelled or refunded. Always check the cancellation terms shown on your booking confirmation email — those terms prevail.

Age requirements

Guests must be 18 or over to book and stay. Photo identification may be requested at check-in. Some dorms have additional age restrictions, which are shown on the room at the time of booking.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in and check-out times are shown on your booking confirmation and on the relevant property page. Late arrivals are welcome; please tell us in advance so we can prepare your arrival.

Groups

Group bookings are handled separately and may carry deposits, rooming-list deadlines and different cancellation terms. See Group Bookings.

Behaviour and house rules

Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, neighbours and property. We may end a stay without refund for behaviour that is unsafe, abusive or seriously disruptive.

Damage and lost property

Guests are responsible for damage they cause. Lockers are provided for valuables; please use them.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law, including the Australian Consumer Law for Sydney stays and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 for Camden stays.
